Hi fellow tragics, :boohoo:

To start off the comparisons with not our adversaries, but our 'peers', well ok, "adversaries" I have found this independent review where a standard RS6 C6 on the smooth Oran Park race circuit "annihilated .. its opposition, with the ease of a kiddies jigsaw puzzle" in its lap of the circuit.

The opposition: no, not fiat pandas, but 2009 model BMW M5 V10, Jaguar XFR, Mercedes CLS 63, Holden Special Vehicles HSV W427.

See attached pdf link http://www.jaguar.com/content/market/au ... fr_pdf.pdf

Truly an awesome car IMHO :notworthy:

One can only wonder what a remapped 700bhp C6 RS6 would do  (if you could afford the new rotors and pads after every meeting).

Hi all

Well, it rained here in Melbourne, lots of intermitant drizzle, so Calder Park cancelled its Drag Night. Anyway, I'll be back 30th March hoping for a cool, dry night. Will post times then (assuming it does not rain). The Grand Prix is here in Melbourne so all I can say is "Go Mark Webber!"

Good article that PerthwaRS6, my mate who works for Jag picked me up the other day in a Jag XFR, it only had a few hundred miles on it, and yeah it was quick. When it eventually stopped spinning it's rear wheels (it was only very slightly wet) But I reckon my car would stay with it all the way to 110, after then it would be game over, the speedo looked as if he had it on fast forward after that, couldn't believe how it was accelerating, it seemed to take corners well, but in all honesty in a further ten years of development from my C5, I felt Jag were quite behind still. Give me a C6 any day.

If your going to keep knocking your M3 everytime you mention it, you can give it to me and I'll give it the TLC she deserves. When was the last time you drove it?
