Reduced B6 2005 S4

Reduced as bought an RS6 so need to sell, offers invited.
Had car about 6 months and got her new wheels and had service with plugs changed. Other than that is great car in good colour combination. Is last of the B6 S4's. It has usual bits plus Xenon's and had an i-pod connection fitted.

As picking up RS6 Monday, I would take £11K....or is that still unrealistic? Just so hard to gauge. Looked at quite a few RS6's and generally the same but with £3-4K difference in price.
Paid £13.5K for S4 6 months ago and thought that was great price?
Is a funny old time to sell but great to buy I suppose?

Hello mate.
I also bought my B6 S4 for £13.5k 6 months ago but I paid a bit over the odds because it was low mileage (44k) and had the mods I wanted (catback, cats and remap).
I part-ex'd it 2 weeks ago for a B5 RS4 and I got £11k for it (from a trader) which I was very happy with. £2.5k is a big hit in 6 months but if that's all people are willing to pay then there's nothing you can do about it. Mine had 47k miles on it when I sold it so a fair few less than yours but it also had 2 scuffed alloys and a few vandal scratches which I didn't sort out so I think £11k on a private sale for yours seems reasonable.

Hi Mate, I think the problem with v8 s4's nowadays is the fact that for the same sort of money you can have either an RS6 or and RS4 (B5)
I think they are a tough car to sell, but they seem to hold value pretty well and if you hold out you should get 11k.
Hopefully before the Christmas period !!

Pick up RS6 tomorrow hopefully so would have to let it go for £10K to be fair or wife not going to be too happy!

I genuinely think so too but old adage but something is only worth what someone is prepared to pay.

I was offered £10.5k for the straight sale of my S4 by 3 different garages without them even seeing it. Have you talked to any traders?
