Serious buyer, not a dreamer, looking for something interesting with a reasonable amount of work already done to it. Bought an allroad with the 2.7T and that convinced me that I wanted the same engine in my fun car.

Needs to be a 1999 or later facelift model as I prefer the newer interior. Might consider a widebody, but I havent seen one in the flesh yet.

Cash available and I'm not going to lowball you. I'd like a health check done by MRC, so southern based cars probably better but give me a PM and we'll see what happens.

By the way don't waste your time on a WB, as there's only about 7 in the UK, with another couple being built at the moment.

It would be, but my wife already loves the allroad i bought her and whilst the RS4 is undeniably fun round the track I want the look of a saloon as my fun car. Plus the S4 is much more sleeper....

UPDATE: Due to hassles with ins co's I am now going the k03 route (until my theft claims slip off the 5 year radar...) as I've got a very acceptable quote for an S4 with 20% upgrade, brakes, exhaust etc. So, ideal would now be:

Silver, Black, Dark Blue or Grey
Facelift (MUST!)
Upgraded brakes (AP, brembos, RS4 b7 etc), exhaust (pref Milltek), suspension (not too low, please)
Recaros and and fmic or rs4 dsmic etc would be a bonus
