The official Audi tolerance is 32mm (min). I had my originals skimmed by the engineers at Ferrari which took them down to 31.2mm and they said more could be taken off with no issues. Word of caution though with skimming, unless it's done properly you could turn your brake pedal into a foot massage when braking.

I'm sorry, but considering the discs are only 34mm when new the minimum tolerance is not 32 mm. It is 28mm so there will be plenty of life left in klausters discs.
