FS Audi S4 (Biturbo, MRC, AP, BBS, FOCAL, Alpine)

Post by dubwhizz » Mon Mar 08, 2010 10:43 pm

I'm not starting with one of them "time to let someone else enjoy this car" cliches cos if I had my way I wouldn't be selling, its easily the most complete car I've ever had. But sometimes life kicks you in the slats (read career) and this has been one of those weeks.

So its a late 99 S4.
2.7 V6 BiTurbo (one per bank).
MRC remap (up to 325BHP which can be proven by VAGCOM)
Miltek dual exhaust, full system.
This takes the car up to 325 ish which is a quick car by any stretch. mid-late 13's on the quarter mile for comparisons sake.

mileage is just shy of 130k, tax til june, test til nov.

In the last three months, I've had a Cambelt, water pump, tensioners, Cam Cover Gaskets, both O2 probes and a MAF sensor along with a couple of smaller water temp sensors. So the car wants for nothing.

Interior is Audis silver nappa leather on the optional recaros (same seats as the RS4).
you get a ski bag in the centre rest, a load liner, a luggage cover and a dogguard with this sale.

rest of the spec is audi intended....
Xenons, Electric windows, mirrors, seats, etc.

previous owner to me was 2nd owner who bought it off his colleague who'd had it a while. so its history is very comprehensive.

CHASSIS
AP Suspension coilovers help it live up to the number plate.
RS4 front brakes help the car stop.
BBS RX alloys in 18".
Arches flared to allow the car to sit over the wheels at something like a respectable height.

BODYWORK
Skimpy Aerial
RS4 front frill with black badge.
RS4 mesh in front bumper
Leon chin spoiler setting the front end off nicely.

HIFI
Mo-tec have done a corking job with the install
Alpine DVD nav Head Unit
Focal Polyglass 13's mids and tweets up front
Focal 13" sub up back in a custom install.
Two Cobalt amps, one sunk into the install and one hidden where the CD changer used to be.
iPod/iPhone kit into the head unit.

The car has some minor paintwork blemishes, a scuff on the front bumper and a mark behind the drivers door. I'll add pics in given some daylight, but we're talking £100 to sort.

The pics will do the talking and the first to drive will buy. Another cliche, but you'd have to have driven some serious exotica to not find this car a great drive.
Price is up at £7k with this plate and hifi included.

I am listening to swaps, but be aware i need to generate lots of cash to start a business so nothing over 1500 notes value. email me with an offer and a pic on matt[@]shofty.me. leave the pic out and i'll bin your mail.

the car is now for sale without the banging install for £6k

so to be clear, you get original speakers which are back in place, with the bose sub/amp put back in. you cant take dynamat out that easily so you also get that too!!! no changer but everyone knows ipod kits are far better.

hifi install is available by separate sale, details in relevant forum section.
