FOR SALE : My beloved mint, low mileage and highly spec'd B5

Post by N11LS_J » Mon Jan 04, 2010 9:10 pm

:(

Can't believe it has come to this. Well here goes...

A chance to own 1 of approx. 400 B5 RS4s – this particular example being one of the lowest mileage cars left. Definitely a future classic, especially this spec.

2000 (X Reg) Audi RS4 Avant (£185 road tax)
32k miles
Avus Silver Pearl paint.
Heated Silver Leather Recaro interior
Piano Black trim inserts
Major service completed with Audi Exeter including cambelt, tensioner and water pump @ 20k miles.
Regular service and oil change (every 5k miles) completed thereafter by Unit20.
Sunroof plus usual RS4 refinements, dual climate control, E/W etc.
As new Hard type wheels with Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta tyres (approx 3-400miles)

Upgrades/Improvements.

Interior:
Pioneer AVIC-D3 with Bluetooth in custom facia finished in Piano to match interior.
Full SatNav with Europe mapping and Ipod connection in glove box.
AC panel finished in Piano black.
Steering wheel retrimmed in leather and top half sculpted in Piano black.
Gearknob finished in Piano black.
ESP Short Shifter
Brand new un-used RS4 logo’d mats acquired very recently from MJ Interiors.

Exterior:
Supersprint Cat back system.
Bilstein PSS9 coilovers (Note: Suspension and geometry have been professionally setup by Centre Gravity)
Hotchkiss ARBs
Supglass with light smoke tints all round professionally installed by Pentagon Tints.
White LED front side lights.
B7 brakes front and rear (approx 9k on discs and 5k on pads)
ESP DTS
Tracker Monitor fitted

1 previous owner, I am the second owner since Dec 2007 @ 19k miles.
All history from day 1 fully documented with receipts etc.

The car has been garaged all of its life by myself as well as the previous owner.
I have spent £££s on detailing products and my B5 has been meticulously maintained!

3 sets of keys

Believe me when I say this is a very reluctant sale, as this is my pride n joy, however currently more of an expensive toy/hobby rather than a necessity.

Couple of negative points to note:
you will find a very small stone chip on the bonnet and drivers door handle paint is chipped slightly, other than this I have tried to be as genuine as possible with regards to the above.

Asking for around £25,500 as above or £29k with a set of £6k custom wheels specifically made for the RS! (contact me for further info on wheels)

For those who don't know my car feel free to use the 'search' feature on here and browse, a handful of fellow forum members can vouch for the condition of my car, it has never been tracked, it has rarely seen britains harsh weather conditions to be honest!

Christ Nills... A bit of warning would have been good!

For those that haven't seen it, this car is absolutely mint, and as noted above is VERY low mileage, considering it's almost a 10yr old car. That's 3k miles a year!!

Too rich for me, but would have had this in a heartbeat otherwise...

Thanks guys...

Carl, buying a 3 bed semi hopefully!

Wish my 6 numbers came up David, then I wouldn't be in this position :(

Apparently living in the RS is not an option, according to the Mrs! (I personally thought it was do-able)

I've exhausted all other options to be honest, this is now the last resort unfortunately.

I haven't Rob, the wheels are so new and unique, not even been out the box, again, gutted as won't be able to see them on the RS, would have seriously finished the car off, honestly.

I know exactly where your coming from,i have these thoughts loads about selling mine,at the end of the day if it is just a hobby or toy as ours are then its a lot of money just to have sat in the garage.
I love mine but it doesn't get used much, not because i dont want to mark it or enjoy it but as you say its a hobby and i have 3 other cars and you can't use them all.
Alot of me enjoys the modding and show scene,so i keep thinking of buying my old g60 back, which has been stored for 4 years or i have seen a mint mk1 i wouldnt mind and drop a 20v in,this would then give me a small deposit for another cheap terraced house to rent.

Anyway good luck,i have seen this car and it looks fantastic
