Saying that you wont sell it locally is a bit odd!! After reading that i'd be worried about reliability if i was thinking of buying this one. Keeping the buyer at a safe distance just creates visions of a troublesome purchase and difficulty contacting or finding you if it all goes wrong. Might be best removing that, even though you explain your reasons.
Asside form that, good luck and dont let it go for too low a price.
Just my 2p.

I'm more interested in the miraculous 560bhp remap!!
What exactly did MRC do to get to these figures?
Year or registration?
No of owners?
HPI/Finance?

560 or even more isn't beyond the realms of possibility on a '6 but some clarity on how the heck he did it would put some curious minds to rest and may even develop a buyer from nowhere who doesn't reside in Derbyshire...........

bar upgarding the blowers, you can't get 560 out of a 6 no matter what you do !
Even MTM upgraded blowers are only quoted to produce 568bhp...
......then ur box goes pop

I don't think it makes any difference if your car is mapped or not, it is a lottery just how long the TC and box last on these. My current box has done 30,000 miles and is perfect. I have the MTM 568...

I can understand how you could read into the post but strangely I was the very same when I sold my last car before buying the B5.......
Although I was looking for a change after over 7 years of ownership I couldn't bear the thought of seeing it being driven around locally and as with Ace, it wouldn’t have been sold to anyone local no matter how much they offered
The thought of seeing it dirty with kerbed wheels and parking dings etc.
If I were looking for a 6, after reading the advert I would be more inclined to go and have a look at it as I would feel the seller is on the same wave-length and most likely suffers from OCD like I do.....
Good luck with the sale and I hope you get someone who appreciates your efforts.

Hi, I see you have only just got the car (from a previous post). Have you had the mods done yourself or were they already on the car. If you could pm me some pics I would be grateful.
Cheers

ok for the people who doubt the figures call mrc and speak to doug or chris, i have paperwork to cover everything that has been spent on this car. as for the "odd" thing about not selling this car localy is quite simple . This car is the car that i always promised myself and shortly after buyin it from a good friend of mine work situations changed that have made it too much for me to run and i aint watchin some other owner of my car drive it around the town i live in .I thought this site would understand this but obviously some people are cynics..This car is as close to perfect as can possibly be for a 53 plated car it comes with a nice reg which is RS 51X TS i also forgot to mention that its recently had 2 new intercoolers also fitted by mrc. to say that im dissapointed from some of the comments is an understatement ...
