He says he doesn't really want to sell it and that is reflected in the price so I am still looking .

Aren't you driving the great deal from Reading yet?

what I actually said was i'm not desperate to sell if the deal isn't right, personally I think the price is pretty good when you consider what you are buying - anyway looks like she is going next week

And as the seller you of course can offer an unbiassed opinion on the price of the car
If the price is so good why has it dropped £750 in four days since I viewed it ?
Are you putting new discs on the front for the new owner or does he like them with the groves and scores in them ?

Don't worry Rob he has been pretty offensive on 200mph.org in the past as well...

I'll offer an unbiassed opinion on the car.

It is mint.

Is your motor still for sale Rob? My friend would be interested as he cant find the one he wanted in the colour he wanted! I did say. Please PM me if still for sale.

PS - what scoring on the discs? I never noticed any. My old one had scoring. Sounds like a newbie with some sour grapes. 5 posts copperhead? Go back to your 3rd hand scoobie!

Saw the car 10 days ago and there was nothing wrong with the disc.

As most people in here know Rob's car is one of the best RS4 in the UK. If you want a B7 buy it quick.......

cockhe@d, Interestingly they weren't knackered enough to stop you making an offer to buy the car though, it's only after your offer was turned down they became an issue....

It's also interesting that neither Audi or MRC commented on the discs considering they have both inspected the car in the last 8 weeks.

Fortunately for Me my 2.5 years+ of post history in these forums will allow others to see just how well looked after and maintained my car is, just like your 9 posts will allow them to see you are a complete tw@t. I bet sellers are just queueing up to do business with you right now.....

Sellers - a word of warning, if you do decide to do business with cockhe@d what ever you do don't turn down his offer - he doesn't take it very well, oh and expect to have huge difficulty communicating in any other method than text.

You don't think the offer took into consideration the fact I would need to replace those knackered discs  you really are thick :bash: Did you get those warning lights on the dash sorted out ?

Just to recap , I said your price was too high (over top retail ) and you have since dropped the price , I said the discs need changing , you and your nut swingers say they are fine , I look through a couple of previous posts and you whinning on about yours discs being knackered . OH it's great to be right every time , this is too easy ! you should quit while your behind :knob:

9 posts and kicking off already.

What do they say about first impressions....

Which part of the "discs are not knackered" don't you understand?

This "discs scoring the pads" is a familiar problem that many of us have seen/experienced, so the sensible ones amongst us (bearing in mind front pads are a "wear and tear" item and £300 fitted) knew that the best course of action was to keep an eye on the discs and replace the pads at the first sign of visible concentric rings appearing because many dealers were refusing to do anything about the issue.

And the fact is if you were that bothered about it, you'd come down and have a look wouldn't you?

Or are you just looking for an excuse to save yourself a few quid?

Next you'll be telling us that because the B7 RS4 smokes on start-up you want £5K off because its on its way out!

Still your loss as I reckon you've got a snowballs chance in hell of being offered the car...

    You can't have mine either.
