It works fine, has the cd changer too.

Hi, Out of curiousity what Alpine unit did you replace it with? Was it a straigh fit with the wiring and facia or was abit of chopping etc required. I would like to replace my RNS but the RNS E is still too expensive with the extras.

I replaced it with an alpine ixa-w404r, it has radio, ipod hook up and a touchscreen but no sat nav or tv. The unit was a simple fit, provided the guys have the correct leads (took a 2nd visit to get these) and in conjunction with the existing bose it makes the sound quality superb and very loud and clear. I will try and post some pics soon. pm me if you want more info. total cost about £650 fitted

Thansk for that. I was looking for something with Sat nav built in as the RNSD is limited. Some pics would be nice
