2001(Y) Nogaro Blue RS4(B5) Avant for sale.

For Sale:

Probably one of the best examples of this unfortunately discontinued car which was my 40th Birthday treat. As the wife would not let me have a motorbike, I had to have a car that could do a sub 5 second 0-60mph.

March 2001 'Y' Nagaro Blue Audi RS4 Avant (B5).
2.7 litre V6 Bi-Turbo.
Purchased from Fontain Motors – The Audi Specialists - in March 2005 with 21,000 miles. Full Audi & Fontain service history. You’ll be the third owner.

It now has a measingly 48,600 miles and treated with a ‘money no object’ attitude throughout its ownership. This car (like everything I own) has been meticulously maintained and valeted regularly.
Turbo’s have been warmed up and warmed down on every trip during my ownership (at approx £1500 per set, I suggest you do the same!!)

Here are its best bits:

Nagaro Blue immaculate exterior.
Full Black Leather interior with RS4 embossments.
Electric/heated Recaro front seats and rear armrest with through-load.
Piano Trim - Uncommon.
Alcantara steering wheel and gear knob – Rare.
Electric tilt and slide glass sunroof – Rare.
Electric Windows.
Electric Body Coloured Mirrors - Rare.
Climate Control.
Cruise Control.
Multi functional Driver Display Computer.
Bose Symphony Stereo with 6 speakers and 6 CD Changer in boot.
Satellite Navigation Plus complete with Atlas Navigation CD.
TV Reception.
Front, Passenger & Curtain Airbags.
Xenon Headlights.
Brushed Aluminium Roof Rails.
Full Tools, Jack and Tyre Repair Kit.
3 Keys and all manuals in leather RS4 embossed folder.
Four New (Hardly Used) Tyres - Goodyear Eagle F1 255/35/18 Directionals.

Non Standard Extras:

‘RedStuff’ semi-competition Brake Pads – Increased stopping power over standard pads (you need it!!).
Tanoga Short Shift Gearlever (£275) – Much better than original.
Miltek High Performance Diverter Valves (£75 each) – Much better for performance and reliability (Aluminium compared to plastic originals).
Revo Performance Software (£899) – Improved overall fuel economy off boost, but on boost, this does what an RS4 was designed to do when unrestricted;
*Power increase from 380 to approx 450 BHP.
Have dyno test proof of 399.6 BHP at the wheels.
*Torque increase from approx 440nM to 540nM.
Forget playing with other cars, this degree of in-gear acceleration is motorbike fast yet you can carry a family of 5 plus a lot of luggage or the dog!
Even better, it makes you look like a family man and not attract police attention.

Work just completed:

Have just spent a fortune (approx £5000 spent) on new engine parts.
List includes numerous new upper engine running gear ie. camshaft, cambelt, timing belt, water pump, oil pump, seals and all various ancillaries that can be all proved with receipts. Rest assured, you will not have to fork out for these very expensive items for a long time and you’ve practically got a new engine!

In Summary:

Genuine reason for sale - need to enhance/maintain cash flow in business and make the sacrifice in order to get my Nissan GT-R (I want to go sub 4secs now!!).

Please, no time wasters, canvassers, daydreamers, scam artists or test-pilots. Car will not be released until funds cleared into bank, so if you haven’t got the money/finance to buy one of these very sought after cars, please do not waste my time or yours.
If you are deadly serious about owning one of these, I will categorically say that you won’t find one much better (mileage, condition, performance etc.), but don’t take my word for it, come see for yourself.

I would also recommend that if you are thinking of a new B7 RS4, consider the B5. A 2.7 litre V6 is a lot more economical and a lot less to insure than a 4.2 litre V8, with the same (if not better) punch.

Available for viewing most nights and weekends by appointment only.

Jimbo1234567,

Thanx.
As per the write up, I'm deadly serious about playing with the motorbikes.
One incident on the way to silverstone with what I thought was a Honda CBR600RR, due to keeping up with it, turned out to be a Fireblade. I was most chuffed, and he was so miffed, he didn't even look at me as he finally surrendered!!
She's a great piece o' kit and I'll be sad to see her go, but business and a Nissan GT-R beckons.
1 step backwards to take 2 steps forward and all that.

Anyone!!

Anyone!!

I know there's a credit crunch on, but someone in RS246 land must want a mint RS4 B5.

I know everyone selling a car says this, but I have to say, 1st serious hunter to see will buy.

Then get one - then you might not be so likely to kill anyone else.
