Have just put my pride and joy on the market as we are moving to a bigger house (bigger mortgage) further away from my office (72 miles per day) hence sale and reluctant decision to get a BMW 335d instead.

I've had the fastest estate car on the road so now time to have the fastest diesel on the road (sad attempt at convincing myself this is a good idea).

bro do your self a favour and look at the 535 touring, i test drove 1 and was very surprised just how quick it was, only down side was it ran out of revs quickly, but thats just a diesel.

Nick, the Beemer engine is a corker; I moved from RS6 to my first ever diesel (635d) and have been very happy. Clearly not a move for cost saving, but overall value and ownership is sound. Good luck with the sale.

Pau1, Yep, that's me. Can't say I've spotted your RS6 could that be the stealth colour or because you've been in one of the other toys?

Rilla, our other car is a Rav4 big enough to cart family and stuff around in so I'm now going for a coupe which handles well but still has four seats just in case.

SteveH, I will now have to look into 6 series as an option, thought I only had to choose between CLK and 3 series!!!
