Pre facelift 1998 S4 Avant in Imola Yellow 110,000 miles with FSH (last 2 by independent enthusiast)

New Main Dealer short engine and 1 cylinder head fitted at 75,000 miles due to cam belt failure. I have all the receipts for this work and aircon condensor replaced at same time.

I have owned the car 2 years, had MRC health check shortly after I bought it but running std bhp.

Since I have owned the car has had the following..

710N's, Samco TBB, N75 valve, Boost Sensor, MAF, aircon evapourator, Bosch battery, new front pads in July, both rear springs and rear discs.

I have Vag Com so check for any faults on a regular basis.

Has Bose 6 CD, center arm rest, electric sun roof, auto dipping mirror, factory fitted concealed tow bar, full Black leather, RS4 grill, heated seats, 17 x 8 Team Dynamics Diablo wheels fitted with Bridgestone Potenzas (June 2008).

There is a slight scuff to the rear bumper (quoted £150) and the Red lines on the DIS come and go but everything else works fine.

Due to reckless purchase of B7 RS4 need to shift asap so £4000 ono.

Sorry, forgot to mention both front cv boots and one caliper also replaced.

Now being realistic she needs to go so £3000 - no offers.

Will also chuck in the original Avus alloys although they need a refurb plus a brand new spider hose and after run pump both still in packaging which were bought but never needed.

is it possible to get some more pictures??..engine, interior and a few more exterior shots..

Interior is good for a 10 year old car, engine very clean but missing front plastic cover over tbb due to not fitting with Samco one but I still have it. Also have 2 other Samco hoses for inlets never fitted.

Any problems with the car, except any mentioned above?

It had a draining battery which actually turned out to be a dodgy less than 2 yr old battery - now has a shiny new Bosch one.

When I had the front pads done (Aug 2008) the calipers fouled so is now fitted with 10mm hubcentric spacers all round at a cost of £95 a pair.

Also needs a hoover!

Note shiny new battery, air filter and pollen filter also changed at last service (Jul 2008) only genuine Audi parts and Synta Gold oil.

I have all 4 keys.

Note aero wipers.

Due to several time wasters car is no longer for sale on this site and is now on Autotrader for a more sensible price.

Sale now no longer includes wheels and other parts either.

I had hoped to move her on to an enthusiast hence the cheap price but unfortunately that didn't happen.

I'm surprised youve had time wasters from here, Ive always had a good response from this site when it comes to selling my cars. Sold both the S4 and RS4 via rs246, and considering its free to advertise I couldnt and wouldnt have complained if like minded individuals just wanted to "chew the fat". I think you gave up to soon.

i'd have snapped that car up if it'd been selling when i was looking. i know they've come down a bit in the 6 months ive owned, but damn, thats a keen price for a nice looking motor. good luck with the sale on the trader.

Just surprised he is giving up so soon on here? From experience the site has worked well for me, and the fact he wants to remove the classified from here implies to me that there may have been time wasters from here. I hope my posts not bad etiquette dubwhizz?
