Hi all,

Have found out today that the H&R ARB has totally ruined my rear sub frame so this is a call for anyone within the London area (south preferably) who has one for sale.

Left side behind exhaust - totally sheered off:

Right side, starting to crack:

I've been quoted £1100 all in for one from the stealer and all fitted by a specialist with a 4 wheel alignment...plus I'll need to get a new ARB with re-enforcement plates to stop this happening again!

Can anyone help?

Cheers,

James

well obviously going to get teh plates on it this time but i wonder if it's not better to have a new subframe and then have the brackets put on - would be stronger i guess...

How long has the Arbs been on the car? Anyone know why some go and others don't?

Lucas was telling me that he did 20,000 miles with his on originally and no cracked subframe and that included several trips to the ring. Obviously now he has the brackets and the adjustable thingymebobbies (droplinks?) to make the set up even stiffer at the back

Not sure - i've got teh receipt for them at home. But i'd say no more than 30,000 and probably more like 20,000. I guess it's just one of those things where some things go and other don't!

Looks like I'll be headign up to MRC - so only place I can save money is on teh subframe!

So guys - anyone got a spare?
