AMD 420 BHP CHIP FOR SALE

All

I purchased my RS4 off a member of this forum recently and it came with an AMD chip upgrade in the ECU (dynod at 418bhp on my car).

I recently replaced the ECU due to the main processor failing to comunicate with the clock set so have been running with a standard ECU for about 2 months.

The car has just undergone the following:

new engine mounts,
new transmission mounts,
new rear diff mount,
adjusted front snub mount,
TSB stabiliser bar,
replacement of ALL suspension bushes

AND

Full turbos back Miltek exhaust system with cats.

Due to the new Miltek I will be having the car remapped by MRC to take advantage of its freeflow nature.

The AMD chip is therefore surplus to requirements.

Will take £200 but you will have to have the chip professionally soldered into your own ECU (I have several contacts that could do this).

Thanks

All

Just collested the car from Racetech UK and what a difference.

New engine mounts, TSB bar and GEO setup and WOW!!!!!!!!.

This thing is now on a par with my RB30 R34 Skyline GTR (650 bhp but with LAGGGGGG !!!).

Still on standard ECU but with full Miltek inc 200 cell cats and car feels much more lively than std exhaust + AMD remap .

Having full GIAC remap (for full turbo back exhast) on friday and expecting good results (had my 996 GT2 done by them with incredilble results).

Will report back after the weekend.

AMD 420bhp chip now available to the highest bidder.

Cheers

Not to put a downer on your sale of the AmD chip Nick - Before the days of BigBoysToys the chip tuners like Geoff, Adam and Gary at AmD generally did a car specific 're-map' - it's on a riser board because they encrypted their code to stop others just copying it with a eprom reader.

R33V-SPEC

Yes I have recently sold my RB30 R34 GTR but I may have an 800+bhp R33 on the way.

I actually bought the RS4 because my R34 went into the body shop for about 6 weeks and I hate courtesy cars so the RS4 was a short term stop gap!.

Having already owned S2, RS2, RS6 + several other Audis including Coupes, WR, 80 cab etc I thought I would try an RS4.

I am so happy with it I am probably going to keep it now that I have effectively refurbed it back to good as new with the suspension rebuild and new engine mounts.

For a practical load lugger I can't think of anything better for the price. It is far more involving to drive than my RS6 was and still has that bullet proof feel to it.

It will be staying in my stable for a while I think: currently - B5 RS4, E30 M3, 4WD Corrado VR6 Turbo, Mid engined MK1 Golf VR6 Turbo, Westfield XTR4 (370 bhp), Audi Q7, Ultima GTR, 1971 Cooper S and a Gumpert Apollo Sport + a few others.

Keep in touch.

Cheers

Unfortunately so wrong. and the reason for the encrypted board was a totally different one too.
