For sale is this One Of A KInd Special manufacture Audi RS6 show car.
The car is Registered January 2004 Audi Quattro with 48,500 miles.
This is a garage-kept vehicle, washed and waxed and is owned by a non-smoker.

In a wonderful Missano Red with all the Factory extra's and more available from Audi.

Audi factory fitted extras as checked with Audi UK are:

1. Customised instruments
2. Upgraded Brake Discs
3. AUDI SE code for the engine, AUDI Press Office and Audi MotorSport don't have this listed but they assume its the special equipment engine upgrade to 540 BHP.
4. Audi 6+ Sports Exhausts (full system)
5. Audi Sports Felt Steering Wheel and gear Knob
6. Electric Steering Column
7. Super Sports Suspension
8. Electric Solar Sunroof
9. Interior Brush Metallic Aluminium Inlays
10. Load Safety Net
11. Auto Dipping Door mirrors

Obviously the soft full leather seats, Alicante head lining, Bose Sound system and all the other toys are standard for the RS6. Tiptronic/ Semi Auto and Fully Auto with Sport/Normal settings. Gearbox is 5 speed etc etc - the list is endless.

Millhouse Audi fitted a new Gearbox June 2006 which carries a 24 month Guarentee receipts available and Guarentee transfers with car. Completely alian territory as Audi have never experienced this before even with RS6's with triple this mileage. We assume its the upgraded power.

New Alternator and Air Conditioning overhaul and parts receipts available both with 24 month warrenty same date - receipts available - also transfers with car.

Full main dealer service history, every receipt available etc.

New Windscreen fitted, I cracked the old one when replacing the wiper blade!!


Car is close to immaculate, usual very small marks and one wheel is a bit scratched.

Fitted with TrackerStar Plus stolen vechile recovery system - transferable £10 a month, you can upgrade for traffic reports etc on the Sat Nav system too.

Full RAC inspection report from January 2007, which I never opened as the engineer called and gave the all clear. Feel free to do the same, cost was £268.36 inc VAT well worth it and recommended - January 2007 listed problems were:
a. Rear brakes low - replaced with new
b. Both rear tyres at 3mm, replaced with new
c. Tyre pump missing, replaced with Halfords electric pump and tyre inflator
d. Doors and rear corner resprayed - RAC tell me this is normal for cars of this type and history when sold to general public, somehow RAC measured the paint?
e. Rear Tinting Offside Rear window starting to peel away - not fixed.
f. No CD changer magazine - fixed.
g. Engine front cover 1 clip missing - not checked, expect Audi fixed this when they took the engine out.
h. Scuff near Side Rear wheel - too small to worry about.



Tyres all very good everythig works, due 12 month service now which I shall have done before car is sold.

Basically its had everything done and has been well cared for. I have only done about 5400 miles in it, I have 2 small boys and a daughter due in June. The house now needs an extension so I might as well sell this and get something more suitable like a JCB and a room for my daughter.

Power: Standard 450 BHP, this one I was told is 540BHP. I cannot verify that and I don't want it thrashed out in some poorly ventilated rolling road either but the Audi HQ SE code (Special Equipment code is probably why). The man I bought this car from used to work for Audi and he knew the person who put the running in miles on this car. I still have his details if this helps. I did however discover the speed limiter had been removed when it changed from 4th gear to 5th at ~150 MPH and carried on until 175 MPH when I ran out of safe road (abroad) and backed off, much to the delight of my brother as it was still accelarating! I've seen these on YouTube doing 186 and I can believe it.

No test drives available, but feel free to book an appointment to look at it or send a qualified inspector to check it. If you find any faults I will put them right, but you would be hard pushed to find anything. I might take you out for a drive but don't expect me to risk my family. Hope you can understand.

Payment is by cleared funds direct Bank to Bank before I part with the car. No cash/ Drafts / PX or Paypal.

Maybe not having your family in the car when a potential buyer comes to view might get around this issue?

Would be very surprised if anyone would be happy to part with that much money without driving a car first, but good luck with sale.

I agree, no way would any one serious enough to want to buy this car buy it without a test drive?? You’re not doing yourself any favours here mate with that approach. Especially as a buyer will be looking for DRC trouble, possibly gear issue's etc.. This isn’t a pop at you just a fellow ex owner trying to help you sell your car.

You’re in the right place though; this site has helped me sell cars in the past. She looks good and quite unique and your almost there with the price, good luck!

I was surprised to read that aswell, no test driving an Audi before you buy it?? Eh?? Why??

I don't know why this site does not use the same rules as the seatcupra.net site. you have to make 10 posts before you can use the classifieds, it seems to cut all this 1 post arrogance out, some how it just works.

Buying an S/RS car without a test drive would be like buying a house just using the Estate Agents particulars...and we all know how dodgy they can be.

He is 8 valves short of a full engine as his ebay says 32v not 40v

And my roof lining is Alcantara but his has come from Alicante !!

The best bit was the unheard of gearbox problems that plague all RS6 owners !
