I'm selling my T reg Ming Blue Audi S4 2.7 Bi-turbo

Its in really good condition and goes slightly better than standard...

Its had various added touches in the last year or so, courtesy of our friends at MRC, including: -

Full Health check
New DVs
Miltek Twin Catback
Gutted pre-cats
Custom Remap
H&R Anti-roll-bars front and rear

Doug at MRC reckons its pushing 330 bhp

Its rolling on RS4 18" alloys and Toyo Proxes
Alpine Head Unit with Ipod control
Black Leather and blue alcantara Interior

I'm offering all of this for an unbelievable price mainly because its recently crept over the 100k mileage barrier, so someone will be getting an absolute bargain at £7,695

I'm looking to upgrade to a nice RS4 in blue or black, so if you know anyone selling, please send them my way.

Dear RS246 regulars,

Have I overpitched or is just a ridiculous time to be selling a car?

Any advice gladly welcomed :)

The thing with these cars is that it can take a while to shift them, I've seen certain cars for sale for over 3 months at a time while I was looking. This is also just about the worst time to be selling something like an S4 with people tightening their belts because of rising petrol prices, Xmas on the way and a potentially tough year coming up because of the economy.

I think you've overpriced a little considering the miles (100K is a BIG phychological barrier even though S4s are fine for double that) and whilst the mods certainly make up the difference, it's really a case of whether someone else is willing to pay you for them. If you're happy to wait, you'll probably get your asking price, but dropping to around £7k would get you a sale a lot quicker in my opinion. Depends whether it needs to be gone by the new year really because I don't like your chances of getting it sold in December with people running around for Xmas.

Of course that's just my opinion :)

Thanks very much for your advice, wombar :beerchug:

Let's hope the MPC drop the BoE base rate this month...

...but just in case they don't, I'm reducing for a quick sale to £7,250

Really nice car that mate. Good luck with the sale and if we had the spare dough, I'd snap your hand off for it.

If this was Noggy or Imola I'd have it off you in a flash. It looks pretty much perfect for me but I've always wanted Noggy or Imola and I'd never be content unless it's one of those colours. Shame cos this car looks great.

This is shaping up exactly as wombar warned...

I'm going to reduce to £6,995 for a nice quick sale before I go abroad on 14th December. After that it will be back up to my original price.

You know you like it...

Have you tried posting it on pistonheads (it's free) and auto trader is still showing the old price just so you know. Good luck with the sale.

Have a free bump on me as well ;)

Merry Christmas Everyone! :D

This seems to be a really bad time to sell but I'm hoping that this will make it an accordingly good time for me to buy too, so I'm going to stick with it for now!

Just had it fully serviced and MOTd for another year (passed no problem).

£6,945 someone

I'm a bit confused at the Autotrader advert. It says the car is "2000" registration which should mean it's a facelift, but the dash looks like it's pre-facelift?

hey carpy,

I don't know if its a facelift version.. can you tell me what extras the facelift version consists of and i'll tell you if mine has them?

Facelift has digital clock. Yours is a 'part facelift' Has facelift door handles etc but still has analogue clock making it a 99.5MY iirc
