AUDI ADAPTIVE LIGHT
utilizing input from the steering and speed of the vehicle, adaptive headlights pivot up to 15 degrees to allow the driver to see ahead in the dark by lighting up corners and bends more effectively.

XENON PLUS HEADLIGHTS
The xenon plus system offers all the xenon advantages on the high-beam as well. When the driver switches high beam or back to low beam, an electromagnet is energised. Depending on the type, this either repositions a gate in unison with an ellipsoidal reflector, or pivots the xenon arc assembly. The xenon arc permits dispersion of the high beam and combines very great range with very broad lateral illumination. The supplemental high beam halogen spotlight functions as a headlight flasher and further optimises the beam’s throw.

Are they from an MY06 or MY07 car, i.e. do they have clear or orange indicator lenses?

yes it is , but if someone doesn't have the Adaptive lights and doesn't mind the amber look they are a good buy.

Newton Abbot Audi quoted for new replacements excluding xenon bulbs with exactly the same with amber indicators £438 per light, that's a massive £876.

Must say I love the adaptive lights for the twisties!

I suspected they may be, but worth asking. Good luck with the sale, like said adaptives are a great piece of kit.
