Thinking of selling RS4 Avant (B5)

I have an option to buy a boat at the end of the season for a good price so i'm contemplating whether to sell my RS4 to fund this. Market seems a bit odd at the moment and i wonder what the car's worth.

It's:

Avus
56k FASH to 48K then a proper service at MRC
Dec '00
MRC Remap to 420Bhp
Carbon Trim
Good tyres
Phatbox
Leather electric recaro's
Dark tints
No Satnav or sunroof

One alloy needs refurb (kerbed but under 2mm deflect)

Any thoughts on what it's worth?

If i were to put a price on it i'd say 22500-24k depending on how good body work is etc, its difficult because the majority of B5's for sale are traders, and only a few seem to be selling privately.

just to let you know there is no pricing structure for rs4 b5 on trade values so i always go on the current market retail values and adjust prices by condition and extras. at the moment b5 s are dropping in price, but low miles models are still strong money

ive had mine 1 year, due to mortgage rates going up mines gotta go, having trouble selling mine private. taking it back to dealer i bought from for 21k

At the risk of turning this into a discussion (actually, it started off as a discussion thread so it would be difficult to turn it into one, I suspect that it'll either be moved to the RS4 section or locked) and not wanting to offend you Mr Slow, but IIRC your sales technique left a little to be desired. I would have been put off by your approach to selling your car, but that's just a personal opinion and others will no doubt think differently.

I'm going to do a proper listing shortly with some decent photos but for the moment i am looking to sell her. Would love to get 22k for it but will consider anything over 20k. Not in any hurry and may of course change my mind!

That'd be a dinghy rather than a boat. Didn't think a MINI had enough poke to tow.

You can't sell your RS4 for a boat - there's a rule about it somewhere in the small print when you signed up to the forum.
