Forgot to mention yesterday that the Dunlops are the correct size - 245/40ZR17 which was the original Audi spec. They are SP8000 series hence the correct tread pattern, although they are actually stamped SP8080 which was the very last of the series produced by Dunlop.

Also could the kind gentleman who called me at 13.15 today please call me back and leave a contact number....today's call was a "withheld number", so hence I cannot call back.

Best, Colin

Four brand new RS2 cup alloys for sale! Original Audi wheels bought from Audi 5 years ago and never fitted, so totally unmarked. Also Four SP8080 tyres (identical tread pattern to original spec SP8000). These were 4 of the very last batch of SP8080s available from Dunlop in Europe. They are fitted to the wheels, and totally brand new. Best offer?? Call Colin on 07785 354371.

How much are you looking for?

Still open for offers......declined a bid for £750 today, and probably looking for something nearer £1000 to get my interest..

When available from Audi the wheels were listed at £300 each, and the tyres cost £120 each. So that's £1680 in total.

Hello Colin, I would be interested to know more about the condition of the tyres. As you say, the 8080 is the successor of the RS2's OE 8000. Do they show any signs of perishing/ cracking? Can you call me on 07802 405627 please? Many thanks, James

Hi James,

The tyres appear to be in brand new condition with no signs of any aging. I bought them 2 years ago when my friendly local tyre dealer gave me the heads-up that Dunlop wouldn't be making any more and he could find only 6 available in the country. I've stored them since in my garage under covers and away from any harmful UV.

I'll call you in the morning.

Best, Colin
