VAG-COM Hex lead with USB adapter

This is all you need to get full access to the VAG-COM software and functionality from any computer it is installed on. No licensing required - the key is in the hardware.

As well as fault finding, this can be used to log performance statistics as you drive - obviously with a passenger operating the computer

Cost new is $330 from Ross-Tech, plus [potentially] import duty and tax

Selling mine for £130. Perfect condition, and an excellent tool

No, it is not a +CAN interface. That is only required for the very latest models though (ie, Golf 5)

So if it's not +CAN then it basically the same as the $230 KEY-COM cable from what I can see... apart from maybe a faster connection speed for logging.

Stick it on ebay, I've seen a few go on there for loads of money recently
