RS4 wheels for sale

Post by Tomson » Thu Sep 23, 2004 9:48 am

Hi all,

Should eventually be getting my spare set of original RS4 wheels delivered to me in the next few days.

Condition is described a "nice", although I will take spome shots when I get them.

Really need to recoupe some of the money I have spent this month (things are fairly quiet at work - so got completely carried away with my eBay addiction. Purchased an Roland TD10 electric drum kit, and the BBS's and tryes)

I will also let people know whetehr they are the soft or hard verisons.

Is anyone interested in them from here ?

How much are they worth ?

Also anyone interested in a Yamaha Mellow Yellow rock tour Custom Drum kit, beleived to be the only Yellow version in the country with lots of special bits and pieces... It was one of the things I was going to keep for ever, just like my first 'real' girlfriend, the corrado, the coloumbus framed bike etc etc... you know the type of thing. Picture shows only half of it, as not very cool these days to have a massive one.....

Nice kit!! If I was replacing mine, it would be severely tmepting, but as I get no time to play at the moment (and don't have any space) sadly it's not an option!

Tom,

give me a pm with an idea of price on the wheels. If they are unkerbed and sensible money I might be tempted.

Cheers,
John.

Will do mate,

I'll get the back here and have a butchers at them 1st.

Also..
"Nice kit!! If I was replacing mine, it would be severely tmepting"

I know mate, Fairly old now though, bought it when I was 17, sold everything I had to get it.. Has two remote Cable hi-hats, and double bass drum pedal so three pedals to choose from on the left foot (although, one of the cables is broken now) massive Gibraltor/Dixon rack 10,12,13,14,16,18 all hanging toms, 22 bass drum. The bass drum and the 18 were modifeid in Japan before it came over - took 8 months to arrive - as I said fairly specialist and sounds awesome - although I would suggest worth about 20% of what I paid for it back then.

Also have a small premier Genista I use as my 'gigging kit' 20 ,10, 12, 14, bought it as I got fed up of dragging around the rack. Both kits though use my DW snare, which is my baby, great sounding drum. I have to go and pick it up at luinch-time after a gig on Tuesday where the great rule of 'don't drink and drum' was broken !!

Was actually very very suprised by the Roland kit and perfect for recording, some of the sounds and things you can do with it are amazing...Picture attached.!

Just for the record, I used to play drums too but sold 'em when I brought my first bike :|

I doubt I could do them justice now. Never got good enough to be in a band in the first place...

Hi all they turned up today, Nice is a fair description of 3 of them - some slight curbing but not much else.. The other wheel though is fairly funny, and after watching the video from the Audi Wheel safety day at Milbrook today, the wheel is quite funny. It clealy shows the 'benefits' of the safety wheel !!!

They are all the soft wheel I believe 025T's.

Open to offers as a four, or on each wheel individually.
