I realise that this car is of limited interest what with it being an Irish car,but posting on the off chance that there are more than just me logging in here :wink:

Car is a one owner 2002 24000mile FSH(10 oil changes from new!)ebony black metallic S3
spec includes ,xenon lights,philips upgraded bulbs everywhere,electric,heated nappa leather Recaro seats (black),climate control,6cd in dash,sideguard airbags,armrest,alloy mirrors,factory alarm,nokia car kit on custom console etc.

Engine

350bhp MTM engine conversion,MTM modifed ECU,MTM cast exhaust manifold,K26 turbo,external wastegate,MTM downpipe,2x Miltek sports cats,Miltek 70mm low back pressure exhaust system,MTM injectors,Samco inlet and intercooler hoses,K&N panel,Modifed airbox &cold air feed,modified Forge bypass valve,MTM front mount additional oil cooler,Forge alloy caps and top mount covers.
engine custom mapped by Peter Link from MTM on QST's Maha rolling road.

Suspension

H&R Coilovers(custom settings)H&R adjustable antirollbars,forge adjustable rear tiebars,custom geometry settings.

Brakes

front Movit(Porsche 911 GT3) 4 pot monobloc calipers with 342x34mm cross ventilated curved vane discs,Movit Pads.
rear Quattro GMBH/MTM 308x25 curved vane cross drilled floating discs with alloy bells,Mintex 1144 pads.
Movit braided brake lines,Mintex comp fluid.

Transmission

MTM Haldex controller(allows torque split to be locked 50/50)
MTM Paddle Clutch

Wheels/Tyres

choice of MTM Bimota 8.5x19in wheels with 235/35/19 P-Zero Rosso's(brand new)
or genuine Porsche 996 turbo hollow spoke 8x18in wheels with 225/40/18 Goodyear F1s on H&R Hub adaptors.

also available 8x18in Speedline Turini competition wheels with 225/40/18 Kumho trackday tyres,Recaro SPG race seat and subframe(incl seat airbag wiring kit)Pagid orange trackday pads.


This car has been built and maintained money no object and must be one of the highest spec S3's in the British Isles.

very capable package,handling and braking(especially on track rubber)have to be experienced to be believed...... :wink:

@Iain,

largely irrelevant unless you live in Ireland mate.

Our cars are subject to a vehicle registration tax(VRT) which pushes the prices way up above the UK's.

As an example,a 2001 high spec M3 29k sterling(approx 44k euro)once imported is subject to a VRT of 19k euro......ya get the picture..... :cry:
Even if exporting the car out of the country,they're not exactly gonna refund me the tax.

asking price for the car is 49950 euro by the way.
