Wanted! Late B5 S4 Avant

OK, long decision made - time for an upgrade to to the next level..

I'm looking to purchase a late B5 S4 AVANT with Recaro leather interior. The lower the miles the better.

Ideally this must be the latest revision (late 2000/2001) with the new style badges (with this also comes the minor revisions to the turbos etc as I have plans [img]images/graemlins/wink.gif[/img])

I went after a couple a few months back . The good one was at a dealers - for 24 hours only ! Many have starship mileages and that I did not want. Shame Dippy doesn't like the B6 version, his would be great.
The lowish mileage one was a private sale and the price just didn't add up so I didn't persue.

funny enough Ben when i parked my car outside the house on sat. first thing i thought of was the length of the avant - it will stick out a bit but still plenty of room on our cul-de-sac for it.

colour wise, I have to say that I'm not at all keen on yellow (sita starts to duck now!), and whilst the Nogaro isn't a fav, it may grow on me the more I look at S4 pics in this colour!! [img]images/graemlins/grin.gif[/img] Avus, Black, Ming Blue (and dare I say Misano if there are any!) most welcome [img]images/graemlins/thumbs.gif[/img]

I fear the search and the whining i'll get from my Mrs as I ponder which car to buy.

Silver, noggy and quartz grey all look good on the avant, and azure blue is tasty when clean.
I just looked pretty silently for a car as far as the Mrs was concerned, and took her along to view 2 only. That way she didn't get bored too easily [img]images/graemlins/1syellow1.gif[/img] I was looking for a fair few months and you just have to be in the right place at the right time.
