Have a colleague selling these brand new boxed wheels with brand new tyres.

Was going to have them for my S4 but they don't fit due to the offset

Wheels are brand new and still in the boxes and the tyres still have the stickers on.

Wheels are 9J x 19'' 5 spoke without a mark and fitted with the oem caps.
Tyres are Michelin Pilot Sport 2's-235 front and 255 rears

Believe (but check first!)these will fit the following cars;

RS4
S6
S4 B5
RS6

They were bought from an Audi dealer for £3,800+ and then he put on 19'' Sportecs instead

Offers for £1,995 please via PM or call me on 07887 950400.

cheers,

Gareth.

n.b. these are not reps but the real oem RS6's.

I don't think you stand a chance of getting those on an S4 (B5) - no way you'd get 9" rims and 255 tyres under the arches without hitting the suspension arms.
Shame as they are luverly wheels...

Still not sold but would be open to sensible offers.

Would split the tyres/wheels and happy to see if a deal can be done.

Thanks,
Gareth

I would be rather concerned that they've got different sized tyres for front and rear - not ideal for a quattro. Also, those rims are exposed enough with 255 rubber - another 3/4" off the tyre width and the rims must be sticking out saying "bite me" to all the kerbstones!

Peter

You're right about the different size tyres. However I spoke a friend who replaced the wheels/tyres on his RS6 to 235 fronts and 275 rears...seemed to work for him

As you can see I'm actually prepared to split these up as an RS6 owner might want the wheels and the 255's therefore leaving me with the 235's...which is fine as I have plans for those

You interested in the tyres or wheels Peter?

As far as I know, there are two issues (I'm happy to be corrected though ):

1) Rolling radius - if this differs between the tyre sizes then you have a problem because the fronts will constantly turn at a different speed to the rear and the centre diff will be trying to compensate, which will damage it.

2) Torque split - I think the tyre sizes are the same because of the 50/50 torque split the car has, so using tyres of different sizes is not recommended.

I'm sure you're right David but as you see I am splitting these items up for the sale so the different sizes are not really an issue.

The 255's will naturally go straight on a RS6/S6/RS4 etc and I'll just sell the 235's seperately

Still for sale Image

Will take £1,100 firm for the wheels, would be £2,600+ from an Audi dealer Image

Will take an offer on the Michelin Pilot Sport 2's- one pair of brand new stickered 255/35 ZR19 XL and the others are 235/35 ZR19's XL.

Thanks.

p.s. please, no timewasters ( Image) . Cheers Image
