Tom, you can only buy Sportec software from Sportec, I doubt anyone here has the Sportec software and a way to copy it, which is illegal furthermore...

If you need custom reprogramming (which the 460 HP SW is), let me know, I can do whatever you need me to, in real time, meaning that it's adapted to your particular engine, not to someone else's like the sported SW.

Dunno who this was for but I'll answer, I'll charge you 700 Euros for an RS4 remap done "on the fly" and for your particular car.

700Euros = £492 by my calcs. That's a more realistic price -It's more what the other tuners should be charging.

Price has always been very important to me because when I got started in this business, it was mainly for myself because I couldn't afford to pay 2500+ Euros to get my car remapped by MTM or another tuner. Then as I slowly got more and more involved, and as I had to invest more and more money (but also learnt more and more and I keep on learning every day, which I guess is good because I'd be bored if I wasn't learning new stuff every day)I've started offering my services to other people. Thus, I'm happy such a price seems realistic to you, for me this price means that I'm happy to give a high-end service to my customers (i.e. on the fly remapping of almost all ECUs I'm doing) and as long as the customers are happy, I'm happy!

However, I take it your not based in the UK? Are you planning any kind of set up over here?

yep, I'm in Belgium indeed but I'm working more and more often in the UK, mainly on S2s and RS2s with "badass" setups such as big turbos and so on. I'll be in the UK next weekend and next monday I'll be in Luton for a dyno session, so if you want to meet up and be able to discuss a few things, no problem m8, just send me an email to mik@info.fundp.ac.be and we'll arrange that!
