Putting my S3 up for sale

Its a MY2003 car, registered June 2002, on a 02 plate, imported via Sport Import (so full UK spec)

came with 2 years warranty - remainder left (1 year)

car is always garaged

not decided what to replace it with yet. If I can get the right money for mine it will go. Really need something with 4 doors and a bigger boot. RS4 bit more than I want to spend, budget is approx £25k(ish)

I have in mind the following:

Golf R32 5 Door
Impreza STI PPP
Mitsubishi EVO 8

all four door but quicker than the S3...

I like the STI as it is FUN to drive, but worried about it being worth 10 grand less than I paid after a year

EVO 8 - Try and get a test drive - no demostrators about at the moment in my area +50 miles

VW R32 - I think the good money is on this one - plus AMD fit the Porsche brakes to this so perhaps I could get them to swap mine over from the S3? I have checked with Sport Import but the savings are approx 1500 quid to import - they also stop producing them in a months time - am speakign to a VW dealer to see availability

You can pick up early 99/00 M5 now for £25K but they tend to have high mileage but then as long as it has extended warranty will not be an issue. Good value for money at that price I reckon. Try www.autotrader.co.uk

Dan, I've also had my eye on the M5 also - however just looking at Autotrader and what shocking depreciation these suffer from.

Very nice cars though with more gadgets than the proverbial James Bond cars!!
