Then get one - then you might not be so likely to kill anyone else.
Bobjebb,

Thanx for your useful words of wisdom.
One of the best things I was ever taught was if you've not got anything good to say, perhaps it's best to say nothing!!

I have never seen one with such a close spec to my car like this car, identical although i have MTM rims on mine. I advertised mine a few months ago for £23,995 but didnt get much interest so i decided to keep it.

Good luck with the sale.

I know it's close to Xmas and all that, but I was told that the users on RS246.com will snap your hands off for a good RS4.

It's a bit quiet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

First to see........and all that.

Hardly suprising at £24,995 surely? It's a cracking example, but at the moment market prices for these cars range from about £10,000 - £15,000 for a 100k miler up to about £20,000 for a low mileage top notch one from a specialist dealer like Nick Johnson.

If you're serious about selling why not lower the price? If you won't lower the price, then you'll probably have to keep it. It's not about what it's "worth" any more, it's what people will pay and like our old friend Bob D said, the times they are a changing!

Then, someone make me a serious offer and with all due respect, please make it a serious one as I'm not quite bought into this 'recession' and 'todays market value' jargon!!

None seem to be moving at the mo' and I've been watching many ranging from £12 to 26k. That makes me believe it's the climate, not the price I've set for a great example even if I have to say so myself!

Anyway, she's still available for anyone brave enough to take her on and if it means I keep her myself, so be it and thanx for reading my ad.

If i had £25000 kicking about, Its a beauty!!! I could manage £12500 but that would just be silly...... :bash:

Littlebear (& Carpy),

I hear you guyz, but IMHO, I think Moorelands are just screwing up the market and haven't got a clue what they have there, 'cos a 55,000 mile example - as I'm sure we'd all agree - is worth more than £16k (unless something's wrong with it!).

To prove my other point tho', Moorelands have had this on sale for quite a few weeks now and they still have it - A market thing then, not a price thing!!

Damn the banks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Agreed - The market is on its head at the moment so it's a terrible time to contemplate selling. There's an RS6 just come for sale at £10,000 in the classifieds, and a low mileage Nogaro S4 that was up for sale at £11,500 a few months ago has just sold for £6500. Crazy or what? Then again, as you're selling to move into another car, you could shave the price of the RS4 somewhat and just make sure you do the same (or more) on the new purchase! Good luck with the sale.

To follow your theory, does that not mean that its either too expensive @ £16k or a load of rubbish? Because if it was cheap, then it wouldn't still be for sale

As I said, or as was meant, no RS4's seem to be moving at the mo'.
A used car market issue me thinks.

At the end of the day david7m, if and when a serious buyer decides he/she wants an RS4, it will sell.
Moorelands advised that they had so many t*ats (their words, not mine) coming, looking and asking for test drives that they regretfully sold theirs cheap to do away with the numpties!! They intend the next RS4 they get their hands on to make them money!

Anyway, may I please beg that 'positive' comments be placed on here so I may endeavor to commence and conclude a serious sale. I am not a trader who has to sell stock at a loss at this time to stay in business. My car is priced as it is, but I am open to serious offers from serious buyers only. If you do not want to buy it, then respectfully, leave my thread alone please. I would not dare tell someone else that their car was too expensive and put off potential buyers. That IMHO is not the honourable thing to do.

Many thanx one and all.
