Since a few of you asked me about these following the one I posted up a while back that my mate was selling I thought I'd post the web address of the company that sells them.

I've not used these myself but have seen them in use, and they as good as you can get.

I don't think they are quite the same thing Phil, but am prepared to be corrected.

My understanding was that the cameras highview sell are digital output ones requiring a DV input, not a standard pal line signal. Consequently they give better quality images.

Would be worth a quality comparison then IMHO.

I'll see if I can dig up any comparison data, or see what my mate thought as no doubt he would have researched this before splashing the cash.
Might take me a little while though as this week I'm a bit preoccupied...

Right, I contacted the company and it seems they are NOT DV input jobs. I'm not sure of the camera mounts that you get (i.e. whether they are more suitable for a car/bike) but on the face of it the specs are very similar.

Therefore I think your two companies look to be a far better bet Phil.

When I'm thinking of getting one I'll post up, see if anyone else fancies trying to get a discount.
