Wanted: Secondary Air Pump for B5 RS4

Post by Contigo » Thu Sep 16, 2010 4:04 pm

Anyone got one of these going? Mine has started whining on cold start and I need it fixing before it goes.

I was tempted to remove it from the car altogether BUT I believe it can throw a CEL. Anyone know for sure if it does or not?

Thanks

i did this repair to the wifes MK4 GTI turbo, removed the pump, drilled out the rivets, split the casings, cleaned, lubricated the o ring with grease and reassembled with new bolts and nuts. been good for over 2 years now!
