Ah, I see!
I noticed it when you advertised it on PH the first time but the next time I looked it said it had been sold.

The RS4's going great (touch wood!) but don't do alot of miles in it (5K in 14 months  )......
Finally got the LM's fitted back in May, I'm really pleased with them.

I thought you were in Glasgow?? (the PH advert mentioned Ayrshire??).

Hope you get a quick sale with the RS2000, it must be an absolute bruiser!

Thanks very much, it had taken 3 years of hunting to find, but it’s been worth the wait. :kissmyrings:

Really pleased with the wheels, I bought them from Philip Walker before I found an RS4 to fit them onto! LOL, a bit backwards but I knew I would find the right one at some point and started buying some of the mods early……

I had contacted DVLA to enquire if the plate was available about 2 years before I bought the car, it takes ages (18 months) to go from the enquiry stage to the plate going to auction but luckily I placed the highest bid on it.

Mods wise, you know how it is; it’s just a never ending list!
I have a set of PSS9’s to go on, a Ray West GT2 6 pot brake kit to go on (hopefully fit behind the wheels!), RNS-E + BT module etc….. I also have a set of Pole Positions but in two minds whether to fit them or not…..???

Did you build the RS2000 up or did you buy it as it is??

i remember your search for the right car, defo going to be one of the best rs4's around, well done!

smart thinking with the plate, really sets the car of as well

i didn't build the mk2 a friend or a friend did,believe the car owed him 70k

i have brand new B7 bucket seats i may sell,if i was you though i would put the pole postions in,truly awesome seats in a B5

WOW, £70K!! That's clearly someone putting their money where their mouth is!!
I'll most likely stick the Pole Positions in at some point as I was really pleased with them when I fitted them to my last car (not long before deciding it was time for it to go)......

Good luck with the sale, I hope it goes to a good home.

Cheers,
Des.

Sorry for the thread hijack but what's the process with the plate then? You tell them what you want if it's not been issued?
