Unfortunately due to loss of a massive chunk of my overtime I can no longer afford the luxury of an Audi S4. Simply gutted to have to let her go for something ultimately more practical (and no doubt soul destroying) for the time being, so here she is...
Nogaro Blue Avant 1998 (S-plate), pre-facelift
Black leather with carbon trim interior
129k on the clock
6 months tax and 12 months MOT (from next week)
Modifications from standard:
MRC Custom map and health check (dyno'd at 315bhp @ Powerstation - printout included) May 2007
ECS Stage 4 front brakes. 6 pot Porsche/Brembo calipers, 352mm grooved and drilled disks), blue to match the car . New pads at 123k as I didn't like the feel of the Hawkes they supply.
18" OZ Ultraleggera wheels - Toyo Proxes PX4 tyres, plenty meat on them.
Braided stainless brake hoses all round
Autospeed Drive Train Stabiliser (same as AWE design)
AWE Boost Gauge
RS4 Suspension and anti roll bars
RS4 Clutch
RS4 Exhaust and downpipes with front pre-cats removed (I do have a Milltek cat back which will go with the car, but needs one of the hanger brackets welded back in place to re-fit)
RS4 Front grill
Powerflex Bushes
New rear disks and pads - EBC Ultimax and Redstuff - approx 2-3k miles
710n Diverter valves
Silicon Bi-pipe
Quick Shift gear change
Kenwood headunit with Parrot bluetooth and Ipod/USB link up. Infinity front component speakers
Service/parts related stuff:
Full Cambelt service done at 113k (April 2008) - new belt, tensioners and waterpump.
Full service done 6 months ago - new plugs, oil filter, pollen filter, air filter, oil change, brake fluid change - 123k (June 09)
Oil and filter change being carried out this week
Aircon regassed and ice cold last summer at 124k (July 09)
Gearbox oil change done at 124k (July 09)
New ABS Controller - BBA Reman unit.
New front control arms - only advisory on MOT it has had since I have owned it
New pair of EGTs replaced in the last 12 months from PW Motorsport
New central locking pump just fitted last week
New Lambda sensors going on this thursday
New water temperature sensor just fitted last week
New aircon pressure sensor going on this thursday
New rear wheel bearing
New custom fit mats
Full history from Audi, Dialynx, Audivolks (my local Audi guys).
MRC Healthcheck April 2007
Absolutely every receipt for any part fitted to the car from both myself and previous (Mikeyquattro on here) owners. All receipts for service work carried out. All original owners manuals, keys and alarm fobs.
Basically any "common" fault with the car has been attended to as needed in the last few years, it should be good for another 120k all being well.
Healthy MAF readings, no known boost leaks, turbos still pulling like a train.
Drives like a dream, the modifications have totally transformed the handling and character of the car into a real weapon.
Car is frequently checked with Vag-com, not a single fault code is present at this time - I have just done any little job I found (lambda, temp sender and central locking pump all within the last fortnight or so)
Car is frequently polished and detailed (I am a member of detailing world) with quality gear from Dodo Juice, Bilt Hamber etc. Will be getting an extra going over pending weather this week.
12 Months MOT going on next week, 6 months tax going on from 1st March
HPI clear of credit and accidents
The less good bits (just being honest about the car - saves hassle from people thinking it's a "new" car):
Car is not immaculate but in good condition for age, usual stone chips on front of car, there is a scrape on the front bumper by the number plate surround. Most of the scratches where attended to when I bought it but there are a few marks still that I have not been able to fully correct with my detailing gear. No rust anywhere though. Paintwork still bright and in good condition. Drivers seat has a small tear in it where it has worn through on the bolster. 3 of the 4 wheels have some kerbing would benefit from a refurb - I had intended to get these done before sale but replacing the lambdas and central locking pump ate up my spare funds and thought they where more important to get the car sold.
Think that's everything! Will edit anything I have missed.
£5700 (open to sensible offers) - possible part ex with something less fun
Car is only advertised on a couple of sites at present - would prefer to deal with an enthusiast really.
