At the meet on Saturday I was talking to someone (SitaS3 or PAulS3 ?) about etka, and they mentioned there was a workshop manual on cdrom available for the RS4.
If anyone is able to supply me with an 'off-site backup' I'd be much obliged.
If you fancy staying anonymous just 'private message' me.
Many thanks.
John.

I would like to get a copy myself. The Vag gixmo is too hard to use for mere mortals.

Bushy n co
The guy at this website
http://1.8t.org/~quattroman/Audi%20B5%2097-2001/
appears to have downloaded the entire A4 manuals onto the Web.
They are identical to the Erwin manuals
https://erwin.audi.de/
that I have for my S4. Since the RS4 is 95% S4 and the subtle differences are mentioned in the A4 to 1997? to 2001 manuals.
The only CD I know of is the Bentley one but this is for US cars and will obviously have subtle diffrences in some of the electrics. But is a good price at £45 V's hundreds for the complete set of Erwin manauls.
Be warned though the Ewin manauls / CD rom are for the reasonably experienced. They are very short on tips like they old Haynes manuals.

The quattro man link is all you need. These pages are from ELSA and are the same as on this box of tricks.
