yes - if a car it catagorised it lives with the car for ever - ABI rules. Hence the low price which is Sh**ter as the car is supurb and the damage was not really much - I spoke to the assessor who acted on behalf of the insurance co - I quote" we decided to write it off as owners of these cars expect them to be perfect when returned so we decided it was easier to make a payout" !!!
