Has this had the water in spark plugs problem assosciated with this engine?

Not heard any information relating to that on Audi-Sport or R32 forums

It's in this months Audi driver mag. Basically it's a design flaw from Audi who didn't put cladding on the inside of the bonnet so that you could hear the note of the V6 engine (good idea) and condensation gathers on the metal and this drips into the spark plug recesses and in turn can lead to coil problem and/or ECU's blowing.

I think you are reading into it wrong, I'm not trying to ruin the sale, I was merely enquiring as to how many of these V6 engined A3's suffered from it.
