Wanted gearbox linkages for RS4 gearbox but maybe S4 wil do?

Post by aposegil » Thu Apr 19, 2007 4:26 pm

Hello all

Ive just checked up on my stuff and somehow ive bent the small bar for the linkages that goes across the top of the gearbox :(

anyone got a set of RS4 or im guessing S4 linkages (i.e the bars) sitting about doing nothing?

thank you in advance

The linkages aren't fitted the same way, there is one pivot point which is different on S4 vs. RS4 unfortunately, and I know using the S4 linkage on an RS4 gearbox can lead to shifting issues (slow shifts).

Just my 0.02,

Ok if the PNs are the same, I never checked, however the pivot point of the small lever that links both big ones is gets bolted in a different spot on the box of the RS4 vs. S4....
