RS6plus Sprint Blue with black leather & unmodified

Post by Splash » Sat Nov 25, 2006 11:44 am

All standard RS6plus features, plus the following options:

Folding door mirrors
Suede steering wheel and gear knob
Regular sunroof i.e. not solar - so brightens up the interior.
GSM phone preparation in armrest for Nokia 6310i. (Also have 2 unlocked and unused handsets available).
ISOFIX
Chip protection film on bonnet, front wings and all sills incl. tailgate access.

Registered Sep '04 and full dealer service throughout to current mileage which is under 15k. Garaged throughout ownership, and condition commensurate with mileage i.e. virtually mint.

I've been offered £46k by a dealer so would need to achieve more than this.

Will be sad :( to see it go, but don't get to spend too much time driving it as I'm very choosy about parking so most mileage is in a "sacrificial" car.

Hi Alex

All I can say at this stage is it's not my local one. I think they're getting a bit complacent, and whilst I know they would look after me, there's no way there going to get close to the deal that I'm mulling over.

To complicate matters I've also got a reputable 3rd party who's expressed an interest.

If you've still got your plus you'll know the argument my head is having with my heart.

I can let you know more once I've decided....

i know exactly where you are coming from. my head and my heart have been having an ongoing battle for around a year now!! on the other hand if i really could get the sort of figures you are talking about as mine has similar miles and spec to yours, then i would be interested to do a deal i think.

please let me know when you can where you think i can achieve that sort of price.

thanks a lot. Alex.

Given the response to your ad todate will you be revising your price to a more realistic level or will you reveal what dealer is offering you the "£46k" - are you sure this offer from the dealer is not 9-12months ago??

Would be interested in a car like or similar to yours but you need to have a bit of sense about the asking figure

£46k is on the table, and even with that I'm having second thoughts - especially after having a "last blast" in it over the past couple of days.

Realistic is whatever someone is prepared to pay, and the dealer knows the car's been looked after. With that as a backstop I'm not worried in the least by public response to date, never ming the pm's I've received so far.

Should be on the Audi used car locator or as a "sale or return" with the dealer soon (if I really can't let go), so all will be revealed. Maybe you can haggle with them...good luck.
