I tried a few bottles through by RS and it seemed to make a difference there are plenty of people swearing by it

How many points of octane do they raise? Might be good for me while up Scotland.

It depends how much you dilute it. I used to have a classic that had a 130 litre tank and I'd chuck a bottle in every other tank.
I'd be interested to see empirical results with it on a modern car.
I may have a few bottles around myself - if the OP sells his and anyone else wants some, let me know. Not sure on the shelf life on it though. Probably no that long....
