It's time for the HP4 to find a new home, maybe time for a more relaxed ride for me. I never really used the bike much over the last two years or so as I had three others at the time, I rebuilt and used a Gen 1 ZX10R, purchased an MV F3 800, both of which are now sold. Also purchased a new Gen 4 S10000RR, kept that for 1 year and resold back to BMW Glasgow.
The bike is in 1st class mechanical condition and runs perfectly. It has been maintained with the correct servicing intervals by BMW from birth till 2021, and I have also maintained the bike in my own workshop.
Aftermarket parts fitted: Evotech tail tidy, MRA Smoked screen, Lightec chain adjusters with lifters, R and G Bobbins, R and G Frame Sliders, G.B Racing engine protection covers, Rad and Oil cooler guards, Carbon Chain guard. Upgraded headlamp units with LED running lamps and both mains with +130 Phillips lamps. I also replaced the battery with a SHIDO Lithium in March 2021. All practical additions.
I have the original rear fender, which will be supplied to buyer, also supplied will be the original toolkit and original rear shock spacers, which have never been used.
The body work is protected using PPF from Invisible Patterns.

The bike was purchased by me from BMW Dalkeith in September 2015.
Last serviced by BMW Glasgow Feb 2021, covered only around 1500 miles since then.
Round about the same time I replaced the following.
Final drive chain: DID 525 X Ring using the correct DID tool.
Both sprockets replaced: Sitta Black anodised rear sprocket and steel front. OE pitch and tooth count.
Cush drive rings replaced
Overhauled front calipers: Using OE pistons and OE Brembo seal kit, new retaining kit.
Replaced front brake discs with Brembo "Serie O".
Replaced front brake pads with Dual Sinter SBS.
Purged and replaced front and rear brake fluid with Motul 600 using GS 911.
Replaced spark plugs: NGK Iridium
Replaced air filter with OE BMW
Oil and Filter: 5/40 Fully synthetic OE specification supplied by Westway Oils.
Changed grips as originals had pretty much worn smooth, the grey colour is a bit marmite, but I thought they looked different.
Machined heavy weight anti vibration bar ends also fitted.
New Michelin EVO fitted this week, plus changed the oil and filter and reset the service schedule.
The bike is in perfect mechanical order, and the body work is VERY good for an 11 year old bike with 35k on the clock, I will itemise any noticeable marks below.
Some leg wear from leathers on frame
Few small chips (1mm) on rear rim, 1 small chip on front rim (1mm)
Minor pitting and a couple of light scuffs on the swing arm
Small and very light scuff on end can.
Comes with a LOT of BMW and Aftermarket receipts.
If you are looking for something different then this is or you, the bike will draw attention wherever you go, the Carbon is amazing on a sunny day and it's still the best looking road bike BMW have ever produced, nothing comes close to it.
I am happy to invite any inspection, a test ride will be possible as long as I am in receipt of a meaningful deposit.

The bike is currently sorned, I taxed and MOT'd the bike in 2023, when listing this up I notice there is a discrepancy in the recorded mileage my guess is Robert the tester must have transposed some digits, the recorded milage last MOT shows 35,614 which is impossible as the bike is sitting with 35,225 on the clock/ecu, counting back I would say the mileage should then have been circa 33,630 to match the BMW service, nightmare !... I will email VOSA on this but after this time has elapsed I would think there is nothing they can do, this has been a 100% genuine oversight on the testers and my part, I never noticed the mileage on the certificate when handed to me.....
This years certificate issued 19th February 2024, and double checked the mileage confirmed 35,225..
For the avoidance of doubt I have included a screenshot of the ECU using my GS-911 reader to prove the current mileage.
