Not really like a trader, just make another listing with RS4 B7 calipers. Calipers and discs are the same as in first one.

those caliper holders dont look very strong considering how much force will be put onto them. would you use them?

They are made from special aluminium. Those caliper cariers are made in one motorsport company in Germany and they sold alot of them already.

as long as they are made of decent aluminum and threaded properly with a tight fit on the bolt shoulders it should be fine
the max force one will see is perhaps 2000 lb over a bolt area of ~1 in^2 for a stress of 2000 psi, alum is good for 20k psi or so

the RS4 has a support on both sides, these only on 1, the thing might flex, but should not fail
item 17 mnts the caliper to the arm, item 2 is just a stiffener

looks like they are thicker to make up the difference 380 vs 365 or 15/2 mm ~ 7.5 mm
and offset 2 mm, oem is 34 mm wide, these 38 mm, need to shift 2mm to get on the same centerline
these look like R8 oem set-up with the adapter brackets to fit to the RS4
if I was sure I was going to keep my car for more than 2 years I'd be considering these

We now have updated (final version) of caliper holder. The one showed in first post was prototype.

Also Caliper are the same on all 380mm ceramic brakes. So RS4 B7, RS4 B8, RS5 have the same calipers, only caliper holders are different on some of them.

Here is NEW one!



About part number 2 in ETKA (on the picture) it is only showing there, but it is not installed on OEM RS4 calipers. Don't know why exactly it is n ETKA.

What are caliper holders in OEM Ceramic kit? Are they included in 8E0 098 203

The kit contains:
8E0 615 107 A - Brembo 6-pot monobloc caliper, left
8E0 615 108 A - Brembo 6-pot monobloc caliper, right
4E0 698 151 G - brake pad set
8E0 615 437 - contact set (pad wear sensors)
8E0 615 301 AG - SGL carbon/ceramic brake disc (complete), left
8E0 615 302 D - SGL carbon/ceramic brake disc (complete), right
4E0 012 251 B - tommy bar (an extra long alloy wheel assist spigot - replaces the standard plastic one)
8E0 012 381 - instruction CD-ROM (contains PDF docs for official Type Approval certification, and instructions to recode the PR number of the car)

OEM ceramic holders comes with Ceramic Calipers - it is not possible to get them seperate.
