Dropped off the forum yesterday lunch time and came back this morning to find this lot

What was the answer? To fit 380mm steel discs do we use the OEM caliper setup for the B7 or a custom caliper mounting plate?

Sorry Rich! Keppin' ya on your toes!

I had a few questions and 30 minutes later this thread is a few pages long!

I'm sorry, I really don't the answer to that 380mm question. Over to anyone else?

Good luck!
Sam came up with the answer (JHM website), to take the B7 to a 380mm disc using OEM calipers just shim/space out the caliper to allow 15mm increase in diameter and increasing the bolt length accordingly

Just need to find out which of the 380mm discs fit the B7 bells, QST may well know the answer to that as they are agents for movitbrakes who I have been in touch with asking the question, if not the other route would be for me to obtain a set of bells and put it together

He already PM'd me - this is the lowest price (no offers).

A complete setup for a B8 is £3.5k. Can't see how the b7 setup is £3k more.

Thats a cracking link but I think that kit needs modding to fit a B8..

I've asked seller question and he was vague...unless you guys know all part numbers and can check.

I really want new brakes (and obviously ceramics) but the price is mad. If I had to pay £500 to make a £3.5k kit fit i'd do it in a heartbeat!

It is first generation Audi Ceramic Brakes... Part numbers from 2004 - 2010 A/S8 and part number/discs updated/replaced many times.

EDIT: from the picture it looks like that they are 2007 year brakes.
