You not happy with your 2 tone exclusive ones Amar? I thought they looked good with your car. Personally I think those cognac ones look yuk. Melted toffee and v old fashioned IMO of course and prob wont help resale in he future. I have the Natural and although its nice in an old English leather kind of way they do stain a bit to easily for my liking and im worried a bit about giving them a clean. Just my 2p worth :)

Cognac seems to be marmite, I love it. Cleaning the natural leather won't be a problem, I have liquid leather as DK mentions. Low mileage, sprint and the fact it is a plus will help re sale enough. I have decided to make the car exactly how I want it, as I had thoughts about selling it. Once I have it up at 540 BHP and a three spoke steering and full leather seats, I am sure I will be smitten.

I would buy one tomorrow DK, but the C5 has a single stage airbag not dual stage so it is a bit of a grey area and i don't want to risk it not working.

Ok cheers I have done a little bit of rubbing with some Autoglym leather cleaner but backed off after it looked a little worse than when i started.... I might invest in liquid then Stuck a load of conditioner on them though. Caught some rain drops the other day and they really dont like water thats for sure!!! Amar - if you can find some go for Natural they do look great and v different almost a mottled green colour... but whats all this thinking of selling?I thought you were in Lurvvve !! :)

I think you are MAD amar!?

Keep it original, thats when pluses fetch a premium.

A milltek and removal of drc is totally acceptable but don't start messing around with that beauty!

I know guys, I know. But I'm not thinking about re sale anymore, I want to make it exactly how I want it, and if I loose a couple of K come resale, so be it. I don't like the half alacantara, it doesn't wear well or look as good IMO. I'm only going to put in what it *could* have come with anyway, so natural black leather rather then normal black leather (keeping with the plusness) I will only buy an interior that is in perfect condition and every single clip/screw when I replace the seats/door cards will be brand new from Audi so it will still be as tight as anything. There would be nothing abnormal about a sprint plus for sale with natural black/cognac leather interior if spotted on say pistonheads would there? Fair enough if it wasn't in keeping with what a plus would have come with from factory and just I lobbed some tatty black leather non natural seats in there. Also Dave, the DRC is long gone on this baby, I cannot believe how low it is, can barley get a finger inbetween the tyre and arch.

B6 has single stage airbag, you can modify the wiring but no one knows for sure that it will deploy when needed. I put the FBMFSW on my old B6 but took it off when I sold it. There is a post on one of the Audi forums showing the remains of an Audi after a crash which had the FBMFSW fitted and the airbag did not deploy.
