I’m selling my short shift took it off the car a few months ago, due to being to notchy for my liking.

Reduces throw by 20% or 40%. (very good on track)

Have you driven a b5 with a quick shift Sonny,i had one on mine and liked it.
It was notchy as you say but once used to it i thought it was good.

As you know i wont be tracking mine so what do you think for road use,is it easy enough to get on with.
I always like another mod to add to the list aslong as worthwhile.

Do you know of any other members using one that may give me another point of few.

Hey Jules, road use it was fine as your changing gear more slowly. On track when your changing faster I noticed it was notchy. Lived with it, and decided to take it out as I missed a gear with it. Then again I have missed gears with the OEM shifter, so its prob my driving style (who knows).

Im selling it along with some other stuff to make way for my new track day project. So just trying to free up some cash.

Hey sonny - is this just front-to-back throw reduction by 20 or 40%.. or side-to-side too?

I've had varying success with s/shifters in the past... a Neuspeed one I had was terrible and the gf could not get reverse gear, but an HPA one on my R32 was bloody awesome!

Sorry Jules! I nabbed this, its going to my ever increasing parts pile that seems to be developing in my basement.....my famous last words when I bought this car....'at least I dont need to mod it as its already done from factory'.....
