Serious question, apart from being dirty what makes you think its had a hard life?
I cant see any dents but then again we are looking down on it. Assuming there are no dents and the valves work in the end its a full stainless Milltek....how bad could it be?!

corrosion started near the valves, and on the exhaust hanger plates, also round the joins. its more than a few of years old id say too.
if your after cats why not just buy the cats alone and swap them

100 quid to fit,

I messaged him and he said to me he wants more than £800 so guessing £900 to do the deal. Although for me it's a 7 hour round trip and end of the day if I pay through Paypal he loses 4% to paypal fee's + 4% of the total fee for the final selling price on the ebay side so £900 - £36 - £36 = £828 in his pocket / £900 cost to me.
However, A1M who I've bought exhaust from before for my E46 M3's will do brand new one for £1350 collected which is 3 hour round trip. I think for £450 extra I'll buy a brand new one + will save £50 on fuel so £400 extra for a new one I think the ebay listing isn't that fantastic price.

Because if I win an auction for £850 the last thing I want to do is take the hit paying as a gift so the seller gets his money and I pay even more.
He wants in my opinion to much for it, although I feel he will get his asking price anyway so thats fair play to the seller.

900 quid ????
That's way way overpriced for a second-hand, non-res (with 20k miles on it).
