I`ve got an extra intake manifold from my porting/polishing work.
This is a part best described as "used". It has been on my car.
This is half-way ported in the sense that only the intake runners have been ported/polished, the vanes haven`t been removed .
This probably has both the flap actuator arms broken and repaired (as is my last recollection of it) but they worked flawlessly on my car in that condition. One of the flap position sensors is faulty and the other has been sitting on a shelf for some time so you`d be a smart guy to use the ones on your oem manifold. The trick with the runners is to have constant runner area on it`s entire length and removing any casting marks, anything that impedes flow. That`s what I`ve been trying to achieve with the porting. So no point removing material unless it produces a gain and it would probably be bad for flow to remove too much material. Polishing works in our case , we`re fsi (gdi) which means we don`t need turbulence in our intake tract.
I can also offer the manifold with removed flaps and replacement plugs that have a shoulder and thread so they don`t drop into your engine. Alternatively they can be welded in and ground down . Your pick.
This is the actual manifold , not an exchange service.
Asking 700 eur for the manifold (seeing as to the fact that an oem manifold is 1200 eur and the service would normally cost you 550-500 usd) .
This is without shipping.
