I was collecting these parts to do a 600bhp Passat syncro about a decade ago. I got distracted and the parts are still there in the garage somehow. I'd imagine they'd be interesting for anyone that likes retro Audis. I'm into my v8's now, before they go extinct. I can't imagine getting round to the Passat project in the next decade. Anyway here are some of the parts.
V6 2.7 engine block, I'd begun cutting a cooling channel around the cylinder bores £180
Thick compression head gaskets from 034 motorsport £80
Mechanical lifter kit for the camshafts from 034motorsport £550
Variable cam sprockets £80
Coated standard pistons £170
Coated bearings £60
V6 2.4 block £30
2.4 crankshaft £20
custom made elongated H-Beam rods for 2.4 £400
2.4 heads large port £150 each
2.4 cams long duration £120 each
2.7t heads £120 each
Original inlet manifold RS4 b5 with fuel rail, injectors, pcv spider and larger Porsche cayenne throttle body £500
RS4 b5 ecu and loom £600
RS4 original gearbox with knocking in first gear, (needs the 1st gear upgrade rebuild kit from audi, not included as I don't have it) £600
c5 a6 allroad v6 tdi gearbox, very quick first and second gears with a torsion shaft and high ratio offroad selector £200
6 paddle clutch and lightweight flywheel £400
There's more stuff as well that I can't remember and will add when I go through what's there. I'll add photos when I look.
B5 C5 2.7 biturbo 30valve parts
Re: B5 C5 2.7 biturbo 30valve parts
Some of the parts, looking in the same condition still. Open to offers any enthusiasts.
With a big enough turbo these used to do over 800bhp? Not bad for a compact engine.
