Is it a different ballast for adaptive and non adaptive?

I'm looking for one but have adaptive headlights

I’m pretty sure adaptive and non adaptive use different modules but it’s not a subject I know much about TBH

The part number looks to be 8E0941329A for the adaptive lights on mine.
Just checked on a VCDS scan.
Etka lists the non adaptive as 8E0907391B - https://audi.7zap.com/en/rdw/audi+rs4+a ... 941005/#12
So, unfortunately, it looks like they are different.
Unless one has superseded the other...

No idea tbh.
Perhaps try ebay etc.
Its not something I've had to replace on mine (yet!).

Just an FYI, the AFS ballast number you’re going to be putting into google, eBay, etc is used across a few models, especially the A3. If you get one that been used on a different model and not the B7, you’ll need to assign it to the B7 A4, before you can adapt it.

It’s not that difficult if you have VCDS but try and do yourself a favour and get one that’s been in a B7 A4, if you go for a used ballast.

Oh and 8EO907391A is the correct part number for AFS ballasts. They have a different connector on the bottom, from the non-AFS ballasts.

Apologies for jacking your for sale thread. Thanks again
