I'm looking for either a standard exhaust or a resonated and valved aftermarket version for an Avant.

Currently have a miltek non resonated with no valves and it's too loud for me.

I have a cat back standard exhaust,but the resonated centre box has been played with.

I have a standard exhaust with black tips, valves work as far as I know - I always had them disconnected though.

Owain, if you have a Milltek non resonated, why not just swap the straight centre pipes for the Milltek resonated boxes?

I bought my 4.2 S4 with a Milltek resonated and swapped to non resonated by fitting the Milltek straight through centre pipes - the difference is huge

I have priced up the resonated centre sections, but my concern is that it won't be quiet enough (I don't know how much difference it makes really). If it is still too noisy I'll be looking at new Milltek valved rear sections which will cost near £2000 in total. An OEM second hand is a few hundred pounds...

Yes never fitted it though to hear it, but the back boxes are stock an the valves/flaps all work

I’ve got a full standard system taken off my old avant 5 yrs ago, polished tips,pm me if any good

I've a non res milltek valved system with black tips if you have any interest in it, I see you're after polished tips, but it's here if you fancy something the same level as your current system with the S button engaged but quieter with it off
