have you already an APR Stage 1 car ?...if not you'll be looking at the price of the APR downpipes and a stage 2 APR won't you ?adamstocks wrote: ↑Tue Jan 08, 2019 1:26 pmYeah, was just hoping to get lucky with someone taking theirs back to stock. My plan is to have downpipes mated to the OEM Sports Exhuast for a happy medium noise in dynamic but still sensible in comfort. Just think the £2.5k+ price tag is a little ridiculous for what is essentially two short bits of pipe, I know there's all the development costs and stuff but when a RS3 downpipe is about £300 it just seems they're taking the piss.
WTF !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! 5k.adamstocks wrote: ↑Tue Jan 08, 2019 5:58 pm£5k inc Vat for stage 2 and downpipes. I’m still toying between MRC/APR and Bevo to be honest
Does that include race plugs and fuel pump?adamstocks wrote: ↑Tue Jan 08, 2019 5:58 pm£5k inc Vat for stage 2 and downpipes. I’m still toying between MRC/APR and Bevo to be honest
Morning, adamstocks wrote: ↑Tue Jan 08, 2019 8:22 pmNope, I'm sure I could get the plugs included for that price though.

Here from a few garages that the fitment of Millteks aren't very good.uplandsway wrote: ↑Wed Jan 09, 2019 10:37 amWhy not just go milltek Downpipes?..
Have different versions for different requirements and good prices available too
Milltek should fit onto the stock exhaust too - but as above heard reports that they don't fit very well. As with you, I live in a small village and after my last car (CLS63 AMG) which had Renntech downpipes and a Capristo system, essentially making it straight piped - caused such a commotion with neighbours calling the police and environmental agency!!!! (Yep, they're <beep>) I'm looking for something that can shout in dynamic but be almost OEM in comfort and especially on a cold start.R33 wrote: ↑Wed Jan 09, 2019 12:56 pmIf I remember rightly the APR fit to the stock exhaust giving the best power gain without all the noise of an aftermarket exhaust. I live in a very residential street and am the first to leave every morning and I quite like most of my neighbors and don’t want to wake them up more than I already do.
I’m also not a fan of Milltek, they just look like a bit of a bolt on exhaust you’d expect to see on an 90’s Escort RS Turbo and frankly the build quality isn’t worth the price. I’d rather not do it than pay 3/4 of the price for a really nice setup. Or ideally have my cake and eat it and find some used parts not from Milltek.
Seems like Denso IKH24 are recommended by APR for their stage 2 application, and at sub £10 a pop vs £30 for NGKs it seems like a steal for 8?adamstocks wrote: ↑Wed Jan 09, 2019 9:53 pmOnly shows Denso's when I put a RS6 into the system: https://www.opieoils.co.uk/pv-6107-dens ... ark%20Pluguplandsway wrote: ↑Wed Jan 09, 2019 6:46 amMorning,
