Morning,

Can get your plugs from here

https://www.opieoils.co.uk/basket.aspx
Only shows Denso's when I put a RS6 into the system: https://www.opieoils.co.uk/pv-6107-dens ... ark%20Plug
Seems like Denso IKH24 are recommended by APR for their stage 2 application, and at sub £10 a pop vs £30 for NGKs it seems like a steal for 8?
OK, it seems we have different info re APR stage 2.
APR actually states OEM plugs are fine for stage 2 if properly gapped.

I’ve decided to go with the usual NGK R7438-8 4905 @ circa £220 for 8.

Has anyone used these Denso plugs before though? I'd be weary of using potentially inferior plugs given the blown engines we've ween from bad fuelling. Not saying there is anything wrong with them, I've just never heard of them. I know of Denso tape to stop bolts rusting but not plugs.

I used to use the Denso IK24 (i guess "H" is a new modle?) in MY EVO 5 years ago, running 1.7bar of boost with no issues.
BMW 540i
2018 GTR
F90 M5
X3MC
RS3 Saloon
RS7 FL best car I've owned. No faith in turbo oil screen (turbos failing) or sticking oil scraper ring causing missfires.
F10 M5 LCI still no rear grip lol
S7 black Edition Too big and heavy
S3 8V FL DSG 310ps, road noise is a joke
RS3 8P Rubbish
C7 RS6 Fantastic car but missed playing
GTR R35 800bhp, too extreme, crazy fast though
911 Turbo Remapped. Hated it
F10 M5, awesome but no rear grip
RS6 V10 700BHP crazy
Porsche Cayenne Turbo S 600bhp

Yeah, was just hoping to get lucky with someone taking theirs back to stock. My plan is to have downpipes mated to the OEM Sports Exhuast for a happy medium noise in dynamic but still sensible in comfort. Just think the £2.5k+ price tag is a little ridiculous for what is essentially two short bits of pipe, I know there's all the development costs and stuff but when a RS3 downpipe is about £300 it just seems they're taking the piss.
have you already an APR Stage 1 car ?...if not you'll be looking at the price of the APR downpipes and a stage 2 APR won't you ?
Not necessarily, you can run APR catted Downpipes with stage 1 tune
