Genuine RS4 Wing back bucket seats

The only time they have been bought from Audi for 22k was in 2007 if they were stolen from a car and the insurance company deemed it cheaper to replace the seats rather than pay out 40k on the car. They have never been worth 22k.

They were a lot less than that to buy from Audi when they still sold them as a complete seat. The expense came later when they stopped selling them as complete items so if your seats were stolen the only way to get another set from Audi was to buy all the component parts used to make the seats up which added up to £13k (according to the press).

How much does it cost to retrim a pair of buckets? (Asks the bloke with a retrimmed interior - but didn’t pay for it!)

Depends Faisal... a full interior like yours £5k+ I have that on good authority.

Yes I still have the PM from Kev regarding the price he paid for that interior and you are pretty much there. But as you said that is for the whole interior not just the seats.

Approx £2.5 to 3k for top grain leather. IMHO these seats are worth £2.5k tops.

If you don’t mind - would you be OK sending that on to me? It’d be nice to have a record of the cost of the retrim - it’s the one thing I don’t have in my paperwork.

Cant remember exactly but mine was around this mark, maybe just over. That was all seats, headliner, doors, parcel shelf, pillars & arm rest.
